DeWAL skived UHMW polyethylene films (Ultra High Molecular Weight) have extremely high abrasion resistance, exceeding the abrasion resistance of steel. UHMW is used in belting as a structural support layer and also in automotive rubber profiles as a wear and friction reducing layer. The natural UHMW material carries with it FDA and USDA compliance characteristics. The conductive fillers are used to enhance static dissipation in hose and other applications. DeWAL UHMW forms a superior bond directly to non-polar rubber substrates.

DeWAL PTFE films made from virgin and modified PTFE, are bonded to rubber materials to produce pump diaphragms that are used in aggressive chemical environments. Our manufacturing technologies allow us to meet customer requirements in both thickness and slit widths resulting in optimum processing efficiency. Sintered, Skived PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) film is sold by the pound, foot, or meter in slit width or full width rolls and can also be supplied in sheet form. It is used in electrical applications where high temperature service rating and superior electrical properties are desired.
