Rogers Corporation’s environmental, health and safety policies are based on three main goals:

  • Prevent all workplace injuries and illnesses
  • Seek excellence in EH&S management practices
  • Achieve a high level of corporate social responsibility

To achieve our strategic goals, Rogers has embraced world-class environmental and safety management systems for all manufacturing operations.

Global Safety Management System (SMS)

Our facilities around the world follow an appropriate Best Practice SMS, modeled from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Voluntary Protection Program (VPP). As we continue to expand our manufacturing operations into new global markets, we remain committed to holding all our international operations to the same high standards.

Industrial Hygiene

Rogers Corporation manages a comprehensive workplace monitoring program. This program consists of annual wall-to-wall surveys at every manufacturing facility as well as assessments of new and modified processes and equipment. Employee exposures to hazardous materials and physical hazards are monitored in an effort to avoid overexposures. This program is managed by an ABIH Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).

Our strategic safety plan aims to:

  • Implement our Safety Management System at all manufacturing sites.
  • Embrace a robust workplace monitoring program at all Rogers’ manufacturing operations globally.
  • Perform environmental, health, and safety audits biennially at all manufacturing operations globally.
  • Review all incoming raw materials used in manufacturing operations for environmental compliance, industrial hygiene monitoring, workplace safety, and sustainability.
  • Manage all of Rogers’ international operations to ensure uniform applicability of all EH&S policies and procedures.
  • Promote corporate social responsibility.
