President and Chief Executive Officer
Colin Gouveia was elected as President and Chief Executive Officer by the Board of Directors in January 2023, at which time he also became a member of the Company’s Board of Directors.
Colin previously served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Rogers’ Elastomeric Material Solutions (EMS) business unit since June 2019. He led the EMS business unit, with a focus on driving innovation and growth across the business, enabling Rogers to capitalize on the strength in key markets including EV/HEV, mass transit, portable electronics, and general industrial. Mr. Gouveia has more than three decades of cross-functional experience in the specialty chemical and materials manufacturing industries. Prior to joining Rogers, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Eastman Chemical’s global Chemical Intermediates business unit, where he created the organizational structure, mission, vision, and strategy to drive revenue growth and profitability. He has also held global leadership positions with Dow Chemical Company, The Rohm and Haas Company, and Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI). Colin received a Master of Business Administration from Villanova University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Norwich University and served as an officer in the U.S. Army for five years.
Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer
Laura Russell joined Rogers in 2023 as Vice President of Finance. She was appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer in 2024. In this role, Laura is responsible for the company’s financial strategy, control and compliance, and investor relations.
Laura has over two decades of multifaceted experience in finance and operations. She most recently served as Vice President of Finance Operations at Wolfspeed, a company focused on silicon carbide and gallium nitride chips for the semiconductor market. There, she was instrumental in helping the company achieve operational efficiency while maintaining financial integrity. Before Wolfspeed, Laura was Vice President of Finance at NXP Semiconductors, where she played a pivotal role in the company's growth strategies.
Laura is a Chartered Management Accountant and holds a degree in Business and Economics from the University of the West of Scotland.
Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer
Michael (Mike) Webb joined Rogers in April 2023 as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. Mike is responsible for Global Human Resources and Corporate Development & Strategy. Mike’s career has spanned the financial services and agriculture industries and has worked worldwide.
Before Rogers, Mike worked for Nutrien, the world’s largest agricultural inputs and retail company. During his tenure there, he served as Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief Administrative Officer. Additionally, Mike led Nutrien’s global retail organization in 2022, managing the division through a record financial and safety performance year.
Before joining Nutrien, Mike spent over 15 years in financial services, working in Hong Kong, Singapore, India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Canada. During this time, he was responsible for large, complex human resources functions. He had the distinct honor of being appointed Global Head of Human Resources for HSBC Amanah – HSBC’s global Islamic banking division.
Mike received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from William Jewell College and completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at the Harvard Business School.
Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Jessica Morton joined Rogers in March 2023 as Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary. She is responsible for strategic and tactical performance across the organization in key areas, including legal affairs and governance, as well as business ethics and compliance.
Before Rogers, Jessica worked at FMC Corporation, where she provided leadership for complex legal matters within areas including M&A and corporate strategy, securities law, and corporate governance, among others. Before FMC, Jessica provided global commercial counsel to two businesses at The Dow Chemical Company – Performance Monomers and Plastics Additives. Earlier in her career, Jessica worked as an attorney in private practice, specializing in M&A, corporate, and securities law at the firm Dechert LLP.
Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, and her Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School.
Senior Vice President, Global Operations and Supply Chain
Larry Schmid joined Rogers in January 2023 as Senior Vice President, Global Operations and Supply Chain. He directs Rogers’ global operational, supply chain, and procurement organizations impacting Rogers’ global manufacturing sites in the US, Belgium, England, Germany, Hungary, China, and South Korea.
Before Rogers, Larry held senior leadership roles in global manufacturing operations, engineering, and supply chain management, most recently serving as president of Pilko & Associates, LP, a leading operations consultancy advising senior leadership in the chemical, energy, and related industries. Before Pilko, Larry held broad and impactful manufacturing and supply chain leadership roles in numerous global businesses within the Rohm and Haas Company, culminating in his role as Director of Global Operations for Dow Chemical’s Performance Materials division, where he managed multiple Dow businesses.
Larry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida.
Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Griffin Gappert, Ph.D., joined Rogers in 2023 as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. He leads Rogers’ global Research and Development (R&D) organization and partners with business unit leaders to drive innovation and commercialization of next-generation material solutions.
Griffin joined Rogers from Henkel where he was the Global Head of Innovation for Henkel’s Adhesives Automotive OEM business, based in Germany. He brought over 20 years of experience in the specialty materials and chemicals industries to Rogers. Before joining Henkel, Griffin held leadership roles at Ashland Inc., Imerys, Dow Chemical Company, and The Rohm and Haas Company. In 2006, the American Chemical Society inducted him into The Heroes of Chemistry Scientific Hall of Fame, recognizing "teams of chemists working for the betterment of humankind."
Griffin earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toledo in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Senior Vice President and General Manager - Advanced Electronics Solutions
Jeff Tsao joined Rogers Corporation in 2017 and was appointed Vice President and General Manager of the company’s Advanced Electronics Solutions (AES) segment in 2019, leading the ROLINX® power interconnect and curamik® power Semiconductor Substrate businesses. In 2023, he expanded his role to include global leadership of the RFS business, becoming Senior Vice President and General Manager of the entire AES business segment. Jeff has also served as Rogers’ Vice President of Asia since April 2021.
Jeff is a member of the executive team, which supports setting the company's overall strategic direction. In his VP & GM role for AES, Jeff has full P&L responsibilities. He oversees the strategy and execution of business growth in EV/HEV, general industrial, renewable energy, and other core markets to solidify Rogers’ continued market leadership position. In his VP of Asia role, Jeff represents Rogers with government affairs, customers, and suppliers while providing strategic leadership to the region. Jeff also serves as a steering member of Rogers’ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) counsel to make Rogers a thriving workplace.
Before Rogers, Jeff spent 20 years in the semiconductor, printed circuit board, and consumer electronics industries across the entire value chain. He has broad experience in business management, strategic planning, marketing, sales, and operations. Jeff worked at Dow Chemical, The Rohm and Haas Company, Intel Corporation, and a consumer electronics startup. Jeff has rich overseas experience, having lived in Germany, China, and Taiwan.
Senior Vice President and General Manager - Elastomeric Material Solutions
Brian Larabee joined Rogers’ Elastomeric Material Solutions (EMS) business in 2012. Since then, he has been EMS Marketing Director, General Manager of DeWAL, New Business Development Director, and Senior Director of Marketing. In 2023, he was appointed Vice President and General Manager of EMS and served in that role until his promotion to Senior Vice President and General Manager of EMS in November.
As SVP & GM of EMS, Brian’s leadership is instrumental in the strategic development and execution of sales and marketing activities. Additionally, he seeks and maximizes unique innovation opportunities, particularly in the core markets of EV/HEV, general industrial, portable electronics, and others, to drive substantial differentiation and growth for this business.
Brian has 33 years of experience in the technology sector, where he was responsible for P&L, corporate strategy, marketing, and sales, serving the semiconductor, solar, and medical diagnostic industries. He has been in private equity-backed start-ups and Fortune 50 companies, including Honeywell, Koch Industries, Meyer Burger, The Rohm and Haas Company, and Baxter Healthcare. Brian has been involved in acquiring and selling various businesses over his career.
Brian received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Missouri State University.
Senior Director of Brand, Culture and Communications
Amy Kweder joined Rogers in 2013 as Director of Corporate Communications. In 2017, her responsibilities expanded to include oversight of corporate marketing, and in 2023 she was appointed as Senior Director of Brand, Culture and Communications. Her role is to help build a culture of transparency and trust through two-way communications that tell the company’s compelling growth story and promote its strategy, goals, and values. She is a member of the company’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion council and is the executive sponsor of Rogers’ Mental Health Alliance employee resource group.
Prior to Rogers, Amy spent eight years at Insight Enterprises, a global technology company, where she built the employee communications function and served as Director of Internal Communications. In her role there, she was responsible for developing and executing strategic communications plans for enterprise-wide programs and projects, as well as the company’s multiple acquisitions. She has more than 20 years of experience in internal communications and has worked across a variety of industries, including foodservice and telecommunications. She is experienced in a broad range of disciplines, including crisis communications and investor and public relations.
Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Duquesne University.
