This is the second blog of a two-part series which addresses considerations that can be important to understand for a RF designer, when transitioning from designs at lower frequency to designs at much higher frequencies, millimeter-wave frequencies. Part 1 of this series discussed several circuit material and circuit fabrication issues, which are more influential at millimeter-wave frequencies than at the lower microwave frequencies. This part two of the series will extend the topic to consider several different RF structures and several design issues which can be important to the designer, so the finished product has more consistent RF behavior at millimeter-wave frequencies.
