RF designers have begun working with applications at higher frequencies in the past few years. The recent advancement of millimeter wave (mmWave) technology has enabled applications such as 5G and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). RF engineers working at mmWave frequencies have different concerns than they had in the past with applications at lower frequencies. This blog is part one of a two-part series which addresses the transition for RF design considerations at lower frequencies to design considerations at mmWave frequencies, from a basic RF design perspective.

Hi, I am looking for application notes, design rules, data sheets and process provisions specific to the reliability for designing mm wave frequencies boards. I was unable to find downloadable detailed information online. Do you have information on flexible printed circuit materials for mm wave applications?
