Chandler, Arizona, February 26, 2024: Rogers Corporation (NYSE:ROG) (“Rogers”) is pleased to announce the availability of DeWAL® Plasma X™ tape, its thinnest single-ply masking tape in the DeWAL® thermal spray masking tape product family. Constructed of silicone rubber and glass cloth laminate DeWAL Plasma X tape features an aggressive and high temperature silicone adhesive, making it a great fit for applications with plasma spraying, flame spraying, grit blasting, and more.
With a high temperature resistance up to 260°C (500°F), a 12-month shelf life from the date of manufacture, and an aggressive yet clean adhesive release upon removal, DeWAL Plasma X plasma spray masking tape easily withstands the rigors of heavy-duty spray processes.
“The excellent performance of DeWAL Plasma X tape makes it the only step needed during the masking process,” says Alexa Hebb, Product Manager for Rogers’ Pressure Sensitive Tape and UHMW Films segment. “It saves time – regardless of temperatures or spray angle – and provides a high degree of conformity when complex geometries are present.”
