BISCO® MSK-2 Kevlar Foam

BISCO MSK-2 Kevlar foam is a soft silicone elastomer foam reinforced with Kevlar on both sides. The silicone foam is casted directly onto the Kevlar substrate, without the need for an adhesive layer. MSK-2 Kevlar foam is engineered to perform in the most demanding aircraft and is ideal for use in aircraft cargo components, expansion joint sealing and fire protection covering with high tear resistance.

Available thicknesses from 0.086 to 0.118 in (2.2 to 3.0 mm)
Tear strength of 20 to 35 min. N (4.5 to 7.87 lbf)
Tensile strength of 500 N/25mm (1102 PSI)
Compliant with Airbus ABS5026 B01 material specification
