Assessment of the performance of new designs is a critical step in the Rogers engineering process. The Advanced Electronics Solutions Engineering department uses state-of-the-art development tools to assess thermal behavior and inductance during concept development.

Our simulation capabilities include:

Thermal Behavior

• Calculate current densities
• Check hot spots
• Optimize design and material thickness

Inductance is tested for peak performance during switching

• Calculate magnetic energy storage in air
• Deduct stray inductance
